Library Services
The Library Media Center provides access to books, paperbacks, magazines, reference, and audio-visual materials, as well as internet and electronic resources, to the students and staff of Stivers School for the Arts. The Librarian works collaboratively with teachers to plan lessons and provides support for various teacher-initiated projects. The Librarian provides teacher collections on request and can borrow books from other Dayton Public Schools library media centers for both students and staff members.

Library Policies and Procedures

Materials circulate to students for two weeks. Materials circulate to faculty for six weeks.
Students and staff members may renew materials if there is no hold on the item.
Students and staff may place holds for items that are checked out.
Overdue items
If a student has a book overdue, he or she may not check out anything else until the item is returned. If the item cannot be found, it will be declared lost, and the student will have to pay for it.
