Students at Stivers may audition for one of eight magnets in which to "major": 

• Band

• Orchestra

• Choir

• Piano

• Dance

• Creative Writing

• Theater

• Visual Arts

Special features of the Magnet programs include weekly, individualized instruction, special seminars, master classes and extensive opportunities for performance and creative expression.

Many of the community's leading professional and performing artists are adjunct teachers, providing instruction through one-on-one contact with students.
