Do you want to learn to play a string instrument?  Do you already play an instrument, but want more instruction than you can get in your school?

 

Are you an experienced elementary school-aged player, looking for an orchestra with which to play?

This program is for you.

 

Taught by two dynamic, experienced instructors, the Stivers String Academy is open every Tuesday.

 

 

 

Beginning and Intermediate Classes

 

Grades 4-8

Beginning:  Learn to play

Intermediate: For students who want additional instruction

 

Fees:

Class fees (per term)

Non-DPS students - $25 per term

Instrument rental - $30 per term

Lesson books and music are provided at no additional charge

4:30 - 5:20

 

Dayton Community Youth Orchestra

 

Grades 4-8

6:00 - 7:30pm

The Dayton Community Youth Orchestra is designed for students with a playing experience who want to learn how to be a member of a large ensemble.  Two to three performances will be scheduled per school year


Dayton Community Orchestra (per term)

Non-DPS students - $25

Additional family member - $10
