Congratulations to Kindra Dutton!!!

The following letter was presented as recognition of Kindra Dutton's accomplishments:

To whom it may concern,

I am writing this letter on behalf of Kindra Dutton, because she is a talented young artist who deserves recognition for her accomplishments. Kindra's artwork was selected from more than 13,500 entries, to be exhibited as one of the top 300 high school artworks in the 2009 Ohio Governor's Exhibition. For aspiring artists in the State of Ohio, this is a great honor and achievement. However, Kindra's honors go beyond just having a piece in the show.

The Advisory Board for the Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition has purchased Kindra's series of three photographs, titled "Nostalgia," to become part of a permanent art collection in the offices of the Governor of the State of Ohio. Kindra's works were chosen for their subject matter, which included a doll, a hat box, and a pair of shoes. As the title suggests, these images are reflective of an earlier, and perhaps simpler, time period. The pieces were also chosen for their mastery of photographic techniques. Kindra Dutton's work is of the highest quality and we are proud to have had the opportunity to purchase her work for our Governor's Office Collection.

Sincerely,

Thad Ricker
