Join us for Stivers Open House!

This Thursday, September 9, Stivers will host its annual Open House for parents and students from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. 

Students and parents will follow their child’s schedule throughout the evening – in a more leisurely manner than in previous years.  It will be helpful to have you child with you who knows the building and can take you to the right classrooms in an efficient manner.  If your child cannot attend, we will have copies of the students’ schedules available.

We will not begin the night with a large group performance; however, we will have entertainment in the halls as you move about the building throughout the evening.  Parent T-shirts will be on sale from our Parent Association, activity calendars will be on sale for $3.00, and many activities and clubs will have tables set up with information for you.

This evening is not for personal parent conferences about academic progress.  If you would like to schedule a conference with a teacher for another date & time, we are happy to accommodate you.

We will run our regular bell schedule with one alteration.  Period 1 and period 8 will occur at the same time.  Parents of students with both a 1st and 8th period class will have to choose which to attend.

At 6:30 pm students and parents should be in 1st or 8th period for their first class and the evening announcements.  We will make announcements throughout the night to help keep you on schedule!  We will attend classes in the order below:
