The Counselor's Corner is intended to keep parents of the 7th/8th students informed about enrichment/scholarship and pertinent information/activities for transition to high school.

Sinclair Community College is recruiting (8th Grade only) for the Spring Session (starting in March 2012) of the Sinclair Young Scholars Program. The SYS program is a unique five-year  commitment/experience designed to prepare students academically and socially for college.  Student must be a first generation student (Note:  Parent/Guardian cannot be a college graduate) and must reside in Montgomery County. Interested students must have and maintain a 2.0 GPA or better.  The program offers 10 weekly Saturday sessions (8a-12p) during the fall, winter, or spring.   Upon completion of the program, the student will receive a 2 year-tuition paid scholarship to Sinclair Community College.
