Students wishing to audition for more than one area should attend one session per area. Music students should bring their own instrument (except piano and bass). Audition music is available from your Dayton Public Schools elementary music teacher. Dance students should wear clothing that allows for free movement. Students should be accompanied by a parent or guardian and should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled audition. Audition preparatory information is available online for the following classes:

• Middle School (7th Grade)
• High School (9th Grade)

Please note that Stivers is part of the Dayton City School District . Students from outside of the City of Dayton should first contact the Dayton Board of Education to inquire about attending this or any other Dayton School. As Stivers serves the residents of the City of Dayton and neighboring communities like any other high school, NO BOARDING IS PROVIDED.
