Performances

Congratulations to Tyrone Martin for being chosen to join the Vail Jazz Foundation Workshop. They are going to have a wonderful time learning, exploring and playing jazz. Tyrone will recieve private instruction throughout the Workshop from professional staff. Assisting John Clayton, who is the Director of Education for the workshop, will be Jeff Clayton, saxes and woodwinds; Terell Stafford, trumpet; Bill Cunliffe, piano; and Lewis Nash, drums.

Congratulations to the Stivers Ringing Tigers for being selected to perform in the 2010 OMEA Professional Development Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Over 120 cds were submitted representing outstanding groups from all areas and levels. Groups were selected through "blind" audition by each of our content sub-committees (band, choral, orchestra, jazz). We can assure you that will represent not only quality, but also the great diversity of performing ensembles in Ohio.

Celebrate Dayton's musical heritage. Attend a special pre-concert event in the Stivers School library. Be entertained by accomplished Stivers music graduates from 6:00pm-7:45pm.
